Don’t Freak Out – It’s just a Snowy Saturday.

Due to El Nino effects and a warmer earth, Delaware did not receive any snow during this winter. In fact, there were days when temperatures were warmer than spring or falls. This was true until the east coast of United states is currently hit by winter storm Jonas. In the past 24 hours, it has been snowing non stop and a snow accumulation of 1-2 feet around the region. We just broke the record of warmest months and year, and probably broke another one for most snow fall in a day. As a result, most people were prepared for this and stocked up some food, but I was bored hanging around indoors and so I ventured into the unknown. Most roads were not plowed yet, and the governor had issued a driving ban for everybody, so there were few cars on the road. There were no places to go anyway – almost all shops are close.

Maybe I’ll be a snowman tomorrow.
