Landed in EWR at midnight, and all the restaurants were closed. I was famished and decided that I need something to eat quick before another 2 hours drive home. That’s when I remembered about White Rose System, a diner that never closes. They are famous for their sliders, and you can read about it here, but this time, I ordered the normal cheeseburger instead. They were fast, and it was delicious. Diners are the best – they make you feel at home even when you are hundreds of miles away. Literally.
